There are very few things I spend money on that I feel this strongly about, but Isbell Family Films is at the very top of that list. Kalee and her team have given our family something truly priceless.

We have been doing monthly yearbook films for years now, and it is hands down the best money I spend every single year.

What they create is nothing short of magic. We send in the beautiful, messy, chaotic pieces of our real life, and they turn it into something deeply meaningful, emotional, and stunning. They have an incredible gift for pulling out the moments that matter most, the ones you didn’t even realize were the moments, and shaping them into a story that feels exactly like your family at its very best.

One of the things I didn’t fully appreciate at first, but now treasure deeply, is how these films capture my kids’ voices. Their little laughs, the way they say things, the sound of them in this exact season of life changes so quickly. You think you will remember it forever, but you don’t. Having that preserved on video is something I am endlessly grateful for. It brings me right back every single time.

Every time we receive a new film, my husband and I sit down to watch it together, and without fail we both end up in tears. Not because it is sad, but because it is so full of love, connection, and the fleeting beauty of this season of life. Our kids absolutely love watching them too, which might be my favorite part. They see themselves, their joy, their personalities, and it is helping shape how they remember their childhood.

These films have become some of my most treasured possessions. They are not just videos, they are our life, our memories, our family preserved in the most meaningful way. I often think about how one day my kids will watch these with their own children, and that alone makes it priceless.
